Catherine Ramey Fain and William Bradley Mullins of Raleigh were united in marriage on November 20, 2015, on The Kelly Green at Alys Beach, Florida. The Reverend Robert Duncan Fain, the bride’s uncle, of Augusta, Georgia officiated at the double ring ceremony.The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Toole Fain III of Raleigh. Grandparents of the bride are the late Mr. and Mrs. James Toole Fain, Jr of Hendersonville, North Carolina and the late Mr. and Mrs. John Benjamin Rhodes of Walterboro, South Carolina. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Willard Mullins, Jr. of Raleigh. Grandparents of the groom are the late Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Buck Sproat and Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Willard Mullins, Sr. of Greensboro, N. C.Escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents, the bride wore a hand-embroidered organza dress by Houghton NYC. Mrs. John Shepherd Fain, the bride’s sister-in-law, was matron of honor. Flower girls were Madelyn Elizabeth Johnson of Raleigh, N. C., Merrill Anne Schaefer of New York, N. Y., Katelyn Ashe Smith and Madison Cope Smith of Charleston, S. C. cousins of the bride and Hayden Elizabeth Mullins and Lauren Charlotte Mullins of Raleigh, N. C. nieces of the groom. Michael Connor Mullins, nephew of the groom, served as ring bearer.Mr. Mullins served as his son’s best man.John Shepherd Fain, brother of the bride, Jesse Ashe Smith, cousin of the bride and Michael Brant Mullins, brother of the groom, served as lay readers.The reception, dinner and dance followed on The Kelly Green. The parents of the groom hosted a dinner on the eve of the wedding.
