Imagine going to the church of R&B and the preacher is wearing a black leather jacket, sporting a turquoise ring, and playing a sinful combo of guitar and tambourine.
Oh, and he had a make-you-write-bad-checks wicked horn section and an organ player dancing across the stage.
Nathaniel Rateliff and The Night Sweats were all that and more Wednesday, Sept. 27, 2023, at Raleigh, N.C.’s Red Hat Amphitheater.
