The Justice Theater Project’s first show of the season is Lorraine Hansberry’s classic, “A Raisin in the Sun.” It’s the saga of the Younger family in Chicago’s Southside, where matriarch Lena (Rozlyn Sorrell) must deal with son Walter (Joseph Callender), who wants to take her life insurance money and invest it in a get-rich-quick business, instead of putting it away as medical school tuition for his sister, Beneatha (Aurelia Belfield). Clare Hall, St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, Raleigh. 8 p.m. Friday-Saturday; 2 p.m. Sunday (through Sept. 21). $17-$22 (Sept. 7 tickets, $14). 919-264-7089 or thejusticetheaterproject.org.
