Theater Picks, February 13: ‘Much Ado About Nothing’ at RLT

Raleigh Little Theatre’s new artistic director, Patrick Torres, stages his first production, Shakespeare’s “Much Ado About Nothing,” beginning a three-week run Friday. He’s set the play in 1945 at the end of World War II, a period similar to that in the play, when men were returning home from war to find new independence in the women they left behind. Lucius Robinson and Katherine Barron play the sparring lovers. 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday; 3 p.m. Sunday (through Mar. 1). $22; seniors and students $18 (Feb. 15 only: $13 for all). 919-821-3111 or raleighlittletheatre.org.
