Enter to win ‘What the Dog Knows’

N.C. State University professor Cat Warren wrote a book last year, “What the Dog Knows: The Science and Wonder of Working Dogs.”

That book has been released in paperback, and Warren has several local book events. Here are details:

▪ 7 p.m. Wednesday, Regulator Bookshop, 720 Ninth St., Durham.

▪ 7 p.m. March 25, Quail Ridge Books & Music, 3522 Wade Ave., Raleigh.

▪ 2 p.m. March 28, McIntyre’s Books, 220 Market St., Pittsboro.

We received four copies of the paperback book and will give them away to four readers. To enter, send an email to giveaway@newsobserver.com with “Dog” in the subject line by noon Friday. We will choose a winner at random. Good luck.
