Michael Strahan is coming to Raleigh to headline the Women’s Empowerment Expo

Michael Strahan is set to headline this year’s Women’s Empowerment Expo in Raleigh.

Strahan, a former standout NFL defensive end, a Fox football analyst and member of “Good Morning America,” will be the event’s keynote speaker, Radio One announced Tuesday.

The Women’s Empowerment Expo is set for April 14 at PNC Arena.

The 2017 keynote speaker was Taraji P. Henson, from Fox’s hit show, “Empire.”

Strahan was recently spotted in Durham, walking down Main Street in November. He made a stop at Dame’s Chicken & Waffles while in town.

Strahan spent his entire professional football career with the New York Giants, from 1993 to 2007. At the time of his retirement after 15 seasons in the league, Strahan held a Giants team record having accumulated 141.5 career sacks.

He was also spotted in the area watching his daughters’ equine activities.
