The animated version of Will Ferrell’s “Elf” movie – and the Broadway musical – is a big hit with little kids. In the story, after Buddy the Elf learns he’s not a real elf but was adopted as a baby by Santa’s elves at the North Pole, he sets off in search of his real father in New York City.
Characters in “Elf: Buddy’s Musical Christmas” are voiced by Jim Parsons, Kate Micucci, Mark Hamill, Ed Asner, Jay Leno and Gilbert Gottfried. A new featurette is included in the Blu-ray + DVD + Digital HD download version: “Elfin’ All the Way: Inside Buddy’s Recording Sessions.”
