From Ireland’s musically rich County Clare, Gerry O’Beirne is one of the Emerald Isle’s most distinguished singers and songwriters. “Half Moon Bay,” his first CD, released in 2000, was named one of Folkworld’s top 10 albums of the year. He’s appeared on public radio’s “A Prairie Home Companion” and toured with Patrick Street and the Waterboys. O’Beirne’s songs have been recorded by Maura O’Connell, Mary Black, Cathie Ryan and others. Saturday at 7:30 p.m., he brings his guitar and songs to Garner’s Civitan Club.
