David Bromberg was deep into the Greenwich Village scene during the 1960s, performing or hanging out with such luminaries as Bob Dylan, Rev. Gary Davis, Jerry Jeff Walker, Pete Seeger and Doc Watson. From his 1971 self-titled debut LP through 2013’s “Only Slightly Mad,” Bromberg’s albums have always been treasured by fans of thoughtful, quirky, original folk music. Friday, Bromberg brings his guitars, songs and entertaining stage banter to Cat’s Cradle in Carrboro for a solo show. For info visit: catscradle.com.
