Throughout the 1990s, Hal Ketchum was one of the most distinctive and fetching voices on country radio. A consistent hit-maker, Ketchum’s gems included “Past the Point of Rescue,” “Small Town Saturday Night,” and “Hearts Are Gonna Roll.” Diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, Ketchum retreated to his home in Texas to concentrate on his health and plan his future. The happy result is “I’m the Troubadour,” his latest CD, released in 2014.The album’s mix of country, blues, rock and soul will be showcased when Ketchum takes the stage at Motorco Music Hall in Durham on Sunday.
