NC State Fair’s 2015 concert lineup is all-Tar Heel

The NC State Fair announced back in March that it would be changing approaches this year with an all-North-Carolina lineup for its Dorton Arena concerts, after years of dwindling crowds and mounting losses for national headliners. The 2015 Homegrown North Carolina Concert Series lineup is just out, and it covers vintage Tar Heel rock, metal, beach, gospel, world, hip hop and country, most of it tried and true. Yep, sounds like the State Fair!

In contrast to years past, 2015’s Dorton Arena concerts will be free (although the close-in floor seats will require picking up tickets starting at 9 a.m. day of show). For more details, check here.
