On Wednesday night at 10, FX airs the finale of an exceptionally strong season of “The Americans,” a drama about married Russian spies, played by Matthew Rhys and Keri Russell, living with their two children in Washington, D.C., in the 1980s. In this third season closer, Elizabeth (Russell) and her teenage daughter Paige, who’s being recruited by the KGB, take a trip that puts them in dangerous territory. Meanwhile, their neighbor Stan, who happens to be an FBI agent, continues his plan to save his former lover, a KGB double agent.
