What to Watch on Tuesday: Digging up clues at ‘Uncle Tom’s Cabin’

The Search for Josiah Henson (8pm, UNC-TV) - “Time Team America” conducts a three-day archaeological dig at the remains of an 1830s Maryland plantation that was once home to Josiah Henson, the enslaved man who inspired the character of Uncle Tom in Harriet Beecher Stowe’s novel “Uncle Tom’s Cabin.”

Rizzoli & Isles (9pm, TNT) - The team joins forces with Korsak in a bid to crack a cold case. Jane, still unable to return to dug, takes unconventional measures to stay involved.

Covert Affairs (10pm, USA) - Annie initiates an undercover mission without CIA support while Calder interrogates Auggie regarding a breach of protocol. Meanwhile, a new recruit arrives at McQuaid Security.

Drunk History (10pm, Comedy Central) - Tonight’s stories come from Philly: Baron von Steuben helps train the Continental Army during the American Revolution; John Adams and Thomas Jefferson campaign for president; and Benedict Arnold switches sides to fight against George Washington’s army.

Nathan For You (10:30pm, Comedy Central) - Nathan helps enforce a movie theater concession stand’s “no sharing” policy.
