What to Watch on Saturday: ‘Pit Bulls and Parolees’ returns, new movies from Lifetime and Syfy

Pit Bulls and Parolees (10pm, Animal Planet) - In the Season 6 premiere, Tia takes in dogs rescued from a fighting ring, while a dog that’s been overlooked by adopters gets a chance at a forever home.

Run for Your Life (8pm, Lifetime) - In this new Lifetime movie, a woman flees from her abusive ex-husband with her two children and must make the difficult decision to either disappear or kill him.

Cedar Cove (8pm, Hallmark) - In the second season finale, Jack’s distant behavior has Olivia searching for answers, and Warren’s business dealings put Eric in a sticky situation.

Dark Haul (9pm, Syfy) - A new Syfy movie in which a team of secretive guardians transport a deadly creature and its half-human sister to a secure location, but the beast escapes and threatens to fulfill a cryptic prophecy by destroying the world.

Doctor Who (9pm, BBC America) - The Doctor, Clara and Courtney head into space and crash land on the moon in the year 2049. They encounter a team of astronauts who believe the moon poses a threat to earth and who plan to destroy it with a nuclear blast.

Hell on Wheels (9pm, AMC) - An act of terror strikes Cheyenne as Cullen, Durant and Campbell negotiate toward a settlement for policing the streets.
