Project Runway (9pm, Lifetime) - Will Kini go down as the biggest choke in the history of “Project Runway,” or will The Flash of Sewing salvage his “old lady” line in time to win at New York Fashion Week? Kini has been a favorite for most of the season, with Sean a close second (but Sean may just find himself on the “fringe” of the winner’s circle ... sorry). We’ll find out in tonight’s season finale.

Scandal (9 p.m., ABC) - Olivia gets distracted from work when Jake doesn’t return her calls because, well, he crossed Papa Pope and got framed for murdering the president’s son. As one does.

North Carolina Weekend (9 p.m., UNC-TV) - Tonight’s episode features several segments close to home: a look at Bull City Home Brew in Durham, a visit to the N.C. Museum of Art’s “Small Treasures” exhibit in Raleigh, plus a feature on the Village of Yesteryear at the N.C. State Fair.

Surgeon Oz (10 p.m., OWN) - In the premiere of this new series following the Oprah-approved Dr. Mehmet Oz, Oz helps a mom having heart surgery. At 10:30, Dr. Oz operates on a WWII veteran.

Parenthood (10 p.m., NBC) - Adam gives Max some bad advice about pursuing his love interest at school, while Julia’s new boyfriend attends a family barbecue. Good luck to him.
