A Chef’s Life (7:30 p.m., UNC-TV) – After an Emerald Isle fishing trip, Chef Vivian Howard makes Eastern North Carolina fish stew, which involves whole hog bacon and resisting the urge to stir the pot.

Once Upon a Time (8 p.m., ABC) – In a 2-hour episode, Emma isolates herself from loved ones to protect them as her powers grow, while in the past, the Snow Queen struggles to ignite a rivalry between Anna and Elsa.

Brooklyn Nine-Nine (8:30 p.m., Fox) – This show has been on a hilarious roll lately. Tonight, a confident Jake is left in charge of the precinct when it goes into lockdown on Thanksgiving night.

The Walking Dead (9 p.m., AMC) – After the past two weeks of episodes away from the core group, I’m jonesing for some Rick and Darryl and Carol. Let’s hope that’s who AMC is talking about when they say “members of the group” venture into a familiar location for a heroic rescue mission.

Homeland (9 p.m., Showtime) – Carrie organizes a last-ditch operation to save Saul.

The Comeback (10 p.m., HBO) – Valerie brings back Jane when the network wants her to use a professional crew to follow her backstage at “Seeing Red.”
