What to Watch on Thursday: A final (tearful) goodbye to ‘Parenthood’

Parenthood (10 p.m., NBC) – Have your hankie nearby for this series finale (titled “May God Bless and Keep You Always”), in which dying Zeek gives his daughter Sarah in marriage to Hank. Also, Amber adapts to motherhood while Kristina and Adam plan for the future, and Julia and Joel prepare to make a big decision. Also, tears.

Grey’s Anatomy (8 p.m., ABC) – Tonight is all about Shonda Rhimes (three straight hours of TGIT on ABC), starting with Derek and Meredith preparing for Derek’s move to D.C.

Scandal (9 p.m., ABC) – Details from Olivia’s home abduction (with Jake in the next room!) are seen from her point of view.

Backstrom (9 p.m., Fox) – An arson investigator gets help from S.C.U. when a fire results in murder, and Backstrom narrows in on an unlikely suspect.

How to Get Away With Murder (10 p.m., ABC) – Annalise’s students join the search for Sam the day after his murder, but a visitor could blow their efforts to keep the true story under wraps.

David Holt’s State of Music (10 p.m., UNC-TV) – An exploration of North Carolina music features high profile musicians Rhiannon Giddens, Balsam Range and Bryan Sutton.
