What to Watch on Sunday: Reunions, adversity for ‘Walking Dead’ gang

The Walking Dead (9pm, AMC) - The group encounters more obstacles in their quest for stability and safety. But at least Michonne has reunited with Rick and Carl, right? So get yourself a big ole can of chocolate pudding and settle in for the night’s most stressful hour of television.

2014 Winter Olympics (7pm, NBC) - NBC’s primetime coverage continues. Tonight: men’s figure skating, women’s skeleton, women’s speed skating and men’s freestyle (slopestyle) skiing. . NBC will continue their winter sport coverage through Feb. 23 on NBC, NBC-Sports, USA, MSNBC and CNBC. BAFTA Film Awards (8pm, BBC America) - Stephen Fry hosts the EE British Academy Film Awards from London, honoring the best in film. “Gravity” leads all nominees with 11, followed by “12 Years a Slave” and “American Hustle” with 10 each. “Captain Phillips” has nine nominations.

Paradise Lost 3: Purgatory (9pm, CNN) - The final documentary in the “Paradise Lost” trilogy, which tells the story of the West Memphis Three -- three men who were wrongly convicted of murdering three young children in 19993 in Arkansas. “Purgatory” chronicles the fight to overturn their sentences by relying on changes in witness testimony and DNA evidence that was not available in their original trial.

True Detective (9pm, HBO) - The spoils of a solved case are shared by Hart and Cohle, and troubling new intelligence is revealed by Papania and Gilbough.

Downton Abbey (9pm, UNC-TV) - In part seven, Bates takes a day off. Uh-oh. Also, Edith and Rosamund announce their plan to travel abroad for oh, maybe nine months or so.

Looking (10:30pm, HBO) - Patrick calls in sick and spends the day with Richie exploring Golden State Park and other San Francisco sites, where they discuss their pasts and future plans.

Episodes (10:30pm, Showtime) - “Pucks!” is pulled from the schedule, even though it is not officially canceled, and everyone reacts in different ways: Sean goes into denial, while Beverly mentally starts packing her bags.
