Live from Space (8pm, National Geographic Channel) - This two-hour event, made in collaboration with NASA, takes you live into orbit with astronauts Rick Mastracchio and Koichi Wakata as they fly at 17,500 mph nearly 250 miles above the earth’s surface while astronaut Mike Massimino joins host Soledad O’Brien at Mission Control in Houston. The International Space Station orbits the Earth every 90 minutes, meaning “Live from Space” will literally take viewers on a trip around the world while the astronauts give a guided tour of their floating laboratory – showing how they live and work for months in microgravity. They’ll show how they sleep upside down, stay fit, maintain personal hygiene and of course, how they use the toilet (well, they won’t SHOW that part). Last but not least, the program will provide incredible shots of the planet, from sunset to sunrise, to city lights and green aurora, to lightning storms and shooting stars.

Also on . . .

ACC Tournament (WRAL, ESPN/ESPN2) - The top teams in the ACC join the fun today: Virginia playing at noon, UNC at 2 p.m., Syracuse at 7 p.m. and Duke at 9p.m. Games continue tomorrow and end with the championship game on Sunday. You can see the whole schedule at the N&O ACC Tournament site.

Enlisted (9pm, Fox) - Pete, Derrick and Randy do some self-evaluating after spending time with three veterans whom they fear represent their future selves.

Hannibal (10pm, NBC) - Will’s trial begins, as those closest to him take sides and Jack is pulled in conflicting directions. Meanwhile, a court bailiff is killed in what appears to be a slaying copied from the crimes Will is accused of committing.

Tanked (10pm, Animal Planet) - NASCAR champ Ryan Newman and his wife, Krissie, ask for a desk aquarium for an animal rescue facility in North Carolina. Also, baseball player Shane Victorino wants a Hawaiian-themed tank for his home, but the finished product may not fit through the door.
