Law & Order: SVU (9pm, NBC) - For reasons I can’t begin to understand, Benson ( Mariska Hargitay) is investigated following the suicide of the exceptionally evil William Lewis ( Pablo Schreiber). A prosecutor even convenes a grand jury and calls for her arrest (where is Jack McCoy!?!?!). While two lieutenants (including Donal Logue in a great run of guest starring appearances) advise Benson to save her career at all costs, she wrestles with the right thing to do. My personal advice, if she’s interested: Don’t throw your career away on that piece of garbage. Lie if you have to. You’re welcome.

Also on tonight . . .

Suburgatory (8:30pm, ABC) - Dalia is rejected by the only college to which she applied, so Dallas tries to help plan her future. But Dalia has other ideas about how to survive. Meanwhile, George makes Tessa go on a double date with a mother and son they met on her college tour.

CSI (10pm, CBS) - The murder of a well-known casino worker’s wife is cyber-related, so the CSIs get a boost from the FBI’s Cyber Crime Division.

Nashville (10pm, ABC) - Juliette seeks comfort from Avery after she’s blamed for Scarlett’s breakdown, but Avery is too busy helping Scarlett, so Juliette turns to her nemesis.
