What to Watch on Sunday: Dad visits on ‘Brooklyn Nine-Nine’

Brooklyn Nine-Nine (8:30 p.m., Fox) – Jake is thrilled when his absentee dad (Bradley Whitford) visits New York to spend time with him, but Jake’s buddy Charles doesn’t trust the man. Meanwhile, Holt hatches a difficult brainteaser for Amy, Terry, Gina and Rosa in exchange for tickets to a Beyonce concert.

The Good Wife (9 p.m., CBS) – Alicia prepares for a key interview that could have a big impact on the outcome of the race for state’s attorney.

Girls (9 p.m., HBO) – Jessa gives Shoshanna advice on the art of seduction, while Marnie and Desi argue over money and Hannah spends time with a new young friend.

Secrets and Lies (9 p.m., ABC) – Ben struggles to keep his family together after a damaging revelation is made public right before the holidays.

Escape (9 p.m., NBC) – This three-part docuseries tells the survival stories of ordinary people, including those involved in the Costa Concordia shipwreck.

Battle Creek (10 p.m., CBS) – Milt and Russ go undercover to solve the murder of a victim drowned in maple syrup.

Episodes (10:30 p.m., Showtime) – Beverly and Carol are forced to hide their friendship from an increasingly jealous Helen. Meanwhile, Matt must decide whether to sell his beach house or accept a job as a game show host.
