What to Watch on Wednesday: Marvel-inspired ‘Legion’ debuts on FX

Legion (10 p.m., FX) – A surreal new Marvel-inspired series about a schizophrenic man (Dan Stevens, “Downton Abbey”) who is either hearing voices or something very strange is happening around him. Also stars Jean Smart (“Fargo”) and Aubrey Plaza ( “Parks and Recreation”).

Spy in the Wild (8 p.m., UNC-TV) – Tonight’s installment focuses on animal intelligence: a gray squirrel steals Spy Nut.

The 100 (9 p.m., The CW) – The burden of leadership weighs on Clarke and Bellamy when different challenges force them to determine who will live and die.

black-ish (9:30 p.m., ABC) – Thrilled that it’s his turn to choose a baby name, Dre picks something culturally significant.

Code Black (10 p.m., CBS) – In the Season 2 finale, doctors and the CDC try to find an antidote to the deadly virus.

City in the Sky (10 p.m., UNC-TV) – A new series examining what it takes to put a million people and their luggage up in the air, from building the world’s biggest passenger planes to navigating the busiest airport on the planet.
