Raleigh gospel singer Pastor Shirley Caesar appeared on NBC’s “Little Big Shots: Forever Young” Wednesday night, giving an energetic performance of her famous “Hold My Mule” song (you may know it better as the “beans, greens, potatoes, tomatoes” song).

The 78-year-old pastor spent some time joking around with host Steve Harvey before her performance, teasing the comedian about how he cusses too much.
