What to Watch on Friday: A strong cast for Netflix comedy ‘Friends From College’

Friends From College (Netflix) – In this new Netflix comedy series, a group of friends from Harvard – played by Keegan-Michael Key, Cobie Smulders, Nat Faxon, Fred Savage, Annie Parisse and Jae Suh Park – are facing their 40s. It’s an exploration of old friendships and romantic entanglements, along with some nostalgia for the past. All eight episodes land today.

The Great British Baking Show (9 p.m., UNC-TV) – The seven remaining bakers use sharp citrus flavors, and a challenge calls for three tiers of flavored sponges.

Dark Matter (9 p.m., Syfy) – An injured crew member is haunted by the past, unaware of the dangers that are lurking in the present.
