What to Watch on Saturday: Ryan Gosling and Jay-Z open new ‘SNL’ season

Saturday Night Live (11:30 p.m., NBC) - Season 42 kicks off with guest host Ryan Gosling, starring in the new film "Blade Runner 2049”), and musical guest Jaz-Z, whose new tour starts in October.

All of My Heart: Inn Love (9 p.m., Hallmark) – In this Hallmark movie, Brian and Jenny are preparing for the grand opening of their bed and breakfast, Emily's Country Inn, when a big storm hits Buck County. Brian agrees to go back to Wall Street to boost their funds, while Jenny scrambles to keep the opening on track.

Halt and Catch Fire (9 p.m., AMC) - Joe and Gordon discuss Comet’s future, while a new collaborator challenges Cameron.

My Big Fat Pet Makeover (10 p.m., Animal Planet) - Time for your pet to get in shape with this new series, in which dog trainer Travis Brorsen helps overweight animals. First up, a thieving beagle and a pudgy papillon.

Felipe Esparza: Translate This (10 p.m., HBO) - The comedian shares stories about his life and family in a performance in San Jose.
