Dynasty (9 p.m., The CW) - This reboot of the 1980s soap starts with tension between Fallon Carrington and her future stepmother, Cristal.

The Story of Us with Morgan Freeman (9 p.m., National Geographic) – In this new series, Morgan Freeman goes on a global journey to understand how human culture has taken so many forms. In this first episode, Freeman searches for greater insight into the concept of freedom.

SEAL Team (9 p.m., CBS) - The team must rescue researchers held hostage on a ship in the South China Sea.

Modern Family (9 p.m., ABC) - Mitch is certain that Cam is undermining him during their kitchen renovation.

Mr. Robot (10 p.m., USA) - In the Season 3 premiere, Elliott realizes his mission and needs help from Angela.
