What to Watch on Wednesday: Lives collide on ‘The Americans’

The Americans (10 p.m., FX) – This has been a terrific season and there are only a couple more episodes after tonight, when Philip and Elizabeth’s home and work lives collide in new ways. Also, Nina struggles to figure out her next steps.

American Idol (8 p.m., Fox) – The good: Iggy Azeala performs with Jennifer Hudson. The bad: Florida Georgia Line also performs.

The Goldbergs (8:30 p.m., ABC) – During Adam’s birthday party, his friend Garry shares some of his dad’s home-brewed beer and gets everyone sick.

L&O: SVU (9 p.m., NBC) – In an anti-vaxxer themed episode, suspects fall victim to the measles, while Amaro receives distressing news about his son.

Workaholics (10 p.m., Comedy Central) – In the season finale, the guys reminisce about their first day of work at TelAmeriCorp.

Schitt’s Creek (10 p.m., Pop) – Johnny agrees to speak at a stranger’s funeral, and Alexis struggles with her boyfriend’s love of animals.

Brewdogs (10 p.m., Esquire) – James and Martin join chef Wylie Dufresne and Brooklyn Brew Shop founders to concoct the ultimate Big Apple beer.
