What to Watch on Monday: Rita Moreno joins ‘Jane the Virgin’

The Homestretch (10 p.m., UNC-TV) – An Independent Lens documentary about three Chicago teenagers who overcome high school pressures and homelessness as they work toward graduation and building a future.

Everything You Didn’t Know About Animals (10 p.m., Nat Geo Wild) – The premiere episode looks at the massive elephant, the elusive octopus and the adorable house cat.

The Returned (10 p.m., A&E) – Lucy’s miraculous recovering from the stabbing leaves her a changed woman. Peter makes a terrifying confession to Victor.
