What to Watch on Friday: At last – ‘Stranger Things 2’ lands on Netflix

Stranger Things 2 (Netflix) – Season 2 of the wildly popular series created by Durham’s Duffer Brothers (Matt and Ross) lands on Netflix. It’s 1984 and the citizens of Hawkins, Indiana, are still reeling from the horrors of the Demogorgon and the secrets of the Hawkins Lab. Will Byers has been rescued from the Upside Down, but a bigger, more sinister entity still threatens those who survived.

Blindspot (8 p.m., NBC) – In the Season 3 premiere, the FBI team is brought back together by a new crisis 18 months after they parted ways.

Jane the Virgin (9 p.m., The CW) – Jane thinks it’s time for Adam to meet Mateo, but Rafael disagrees.

Blue Bloods (10 p.m., CBS) – Jamie’s efforts to save a woman who overdosed has unexpected consequences.
