What to Watch on Saturday: Hallmark’s ‘Sweetest Christmas’ and Lifetime’s ‘Blade Runner Killer’

The Sweetest Christmas (8 p.m., Hallmark) – After breaking up with her long-term boyfriend just before the holidays, struggling pastry chef Kylie (Lacey Chabert) reconnects with her high school sweetheart, Nick (Lea Coco). Kylie then uses Nick’s restaurant to prepare for a gingerbread baking competition with a large cash prize that would help her open her own bakery.

Oscar Pistorius: Blade Runner Killer (8 p.m., Lifetime) – Lifetime’s true crime movie run continues with this look at the murder of Reeve Steenkamp at the hands of her boyfriend Oscar Pistorius.

Cat vs. Dog (10 p.m., Animal Planet) – In the first episode of this new series, Jackson Galaxy and Zoe Sandor meet a married couple whose dog has been banished outside since it attacked their Main Coon kitten.

Saturday Night Live (11:30 p.m., NBC) – Tiffany Haddish hosts, Taylor Swift performs.

Austin City Limits (Midnight, UNC-TV) – Seattle folk-rock group The Head and the Heart perform, along with New Orleans bluesman Benjamin Booker.
