Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. (9 p.m., ABC) – The story of Melinda’s transformation is revealed, while Skye learns more about her heritage.

Weird Loners (9:30 p.m., Fox) – Stosh pilfers food from Caryn and Zara’s kitchen in order to cook meals for them.

Deadliest Catch (9 p.m., Discovery) – In the Season 11 premiere, a 12-million pound Bairdi quota increase causes a fishing frenzy.

The Runner-Up (10 p.m., Esquire) – In episode 2 of 4, Clay Aiken has won the congressional primary and faces new challenges in the general election. Also, Clay’s “American Idol” pals Ruben Studdard and Fantasia Barino help him raise money, and Clay hopes that participating in a televised debate against Renee Elmers will boost his poll numbers.

Younger (10 p.m., TV Land) – Liza tries to keep her distance from Josh, but reconsiders when she has a surprise run-in with him.
