What to Watch on Wednesday: A new season of ‘The Librarians’ and a Golden Globes special

The Librarians (8 p.m., TNT) – In the Season 4 premiere, a secret sect of the Vatican Church unearths a map detailing the locations of the four cornerstones of the Library of Alexandria. Flynn and the Librarians work with an unexpected ally to stop them before the stones can be used to destroy the Library.

Empire (8 p.m., Fox) – Cookie and Lucious devise a plan to take down Diana Dubois.

Golden Globes 75th Anniversary Special (9 p.m., NBC) – The best moments of 75 years of Golden Globes awards shows, including interviews with film and TV stars.
