What to Watch on Monday: Chloe Kim and Shaun White compete in Winter Olympics action

2018 Winter Olympics (8 p.m., NBC) – Of course, there’s coverage all day across a few different channels, but this is the primetime programming. We get alpine skiing – downhill and super combined – plus Chloe Kim and Kelly Clark compete for the U.S. in women’s halfpipe and Shaun White highlights for the men. Also, women’s 1500m speed skating. Atomic Homefront (8 p.m., HBO) – A major metropolitan area in the United States – St Louis, Missouri – lies dangerously close to a large landfill containing radioactive waste and an escalating underground fire.

DC’s Legends of Tomorrow (8 p.m., The CW) – John Constantine pays the Legends a visit, and they agree to accompany him to a present-day psychiatric hospital, where they are surprised to discover who Constantine is there to help.

The Alienist (9 p.m., TNT) – Byrnes and Capt. Connor keep an eye on a potential suspect, and Roosevelt finds himself under public scrutiny.
