What to Watch on Monday: A child is born on ‘Jane the Virgin’

Jane the Virgin (9 p.m., CW) – “Jane” ends its landmark first season with Jane going into labor while Xo and Rogelio are in Las Vegas for their big show. We know Rafael is around, but hoping Michael is the one who comes to the rescue! This is definitely getting a second season.

Also on tonight . . .

The Originals (8 p.m., CW) – In the second season finale, Cami reveals information that causes Elijah and Rachel to reconsider their plans. This has been renewed.

Castle (10 p.m., ABC) – The seventh season ends with an investigation into a death in the woods that brings back troubling childhood memories for Castle. Another season is coming.

Bates Motel (9 p.m., A&E) – Norman’s issues push Norma to the breaking point in the Season 3 finale, while Emma has an unexpected reaction to good news. A&E has renewed this for another season.

The Returned (10 p.m., A&E) – The first season of this remake of a French series that aired on the Sundance Channel involves Victor facing his tragic past. Also, a strange premonition overshadows Tommy and Rowan’s celebration. No word yet on a renewal.
