Marrying Mr. Darcy (9 p.m., Hallmark) — In love and newly engaged to the handsome, wealthy Donovan Darcy, schoolteacher Elizabeth Scott looks forward to planning a small autumn ceremony with the help of her mother, sister and fiancé. But when Donovan's Aunt Violet gets involved, the simple event morphs into a magnificent wedding fit for a princess. As the weeks go by, Donovan is increasingly unavailable and Elizabeth worries that their relationship isn't so solid after all. Given their different backgrounds and temperaments, Elizabeth can't help but ask herself (in this twist on the classic Jane Austen "Pride and Prejuduce" story): should she really marry Mr. Darcy?

Also on tonight . . .

Taken (8 p.m., NBC) — A CIA analyst’s son is kidnapped and the team gets help from another kidnapping victim.

Ransom (8 p.m., CBS) — I love that “Taken” and “Ransom” air opposite each other each Saturday. Tonight, Eric negotiates with a convicted serial killer to get insight when a teenage boy is kidnapped by someone copying the killer’s methods.
