500 Questions (8 p.m., ABC) – It’s the third night of a new game show in which super smart people have to answer 500 difficult general knowledge questions. Raleigh’s smart guy Steve Bahnaman was doing well in last night’s show. How long will his streak continue tonight?

The Messengers (9 p.m., CW) – During a united search for the Second Horseman of the Apocalypse, Vera and Alan continue their investigation into the genesis stone’s secrets.

The Hustlers (9 p.m., truTV) – In the premiere of this new reality series about pool sharks, Mike Dechaine and his buddy Jarrod show up to challenge the home team’s best. Another new episode airs at 10.

Monster Croc Invasion (9 p.m., Animal Planet) – Animal Planet’s “Gator Boy” Paul Bedard investigates the alarmingly high number of crocodile attacks in Costa Rica.

American Diner Revival (10:30 p.m., Food) – The opener of a new series in which Ty Pennington and Chef Amanda Freitag renovate diners. Tonight they tackle an eatery with southwestern flair.
