What to Watch on Tuesday: ‘Another Period’ on Comedy Central

Another Period (10:30 p.m., Comedy Central) – After “Inside Amy Schumer,” the debut of a new “American period sitcom” which spoofs the period genre by following the lives of the Bellacourts, the first family of Newport, Rhode Island, at the turn of the 20th century. It stars Natasha Leggero and Riki Lindhome. Expect some raunch.

Chrisley Knows Best (9 p.m., USA) – Todd’s feelings are hurt when no one needs his help, until Savannah gets appendicitis. Todd’s attention prompts Savannah to milk it, becoming the patient from hell.

Stitchers (9 p.m., ABC Family) – The team suspects that Cameron may have been the intended target of a shooting that claimed the life of his neighbor.

Proof (10 p.m., TNT) – Dr. Tyler and her team investigate a case of love, loss and jealousy when a man claims to have seen the ghost of his recently deceased wife.

Frontline: Rape on the Night Shift (10 p.m., UNC-TV) – Frontline examines allegations of sexual abuse of immigrant women working in the janitorial industry and how companies handle the problem.

Leepu & Pitbull (10 p.m., History) – The premiere of a new show starring master mechanic Steve Pitbull and car designer Leepu, who each week will try to transform someone’s beater into a customized muscle car.

Royal Pains (10 p.m., USA) – Hank treats a transgender teenager, while Paige and Evan’s journey to parenthood takes an unexpected turn.
