The NBC weight-loss competition series “The Biggest Loser” will hold a casting call in Raleigh on July 11.
Raleigh is one of just 9 cities where the show will hold casting calls for their 17th season. Producers are looking for teams of two – spouses, siblings, parent/adult child, best friends, co-workers – who have at least 80 pounds each to lose. Candidates must be at least 18 years of age and legal residents of the United States.
On the show, contestants work with dieticians and trainers to lose weight, competing against each other for a $250,000 grand prize.
The Raleigh event takes place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, July 11, at the Planet Fitness at 404 E. Six Forks Road. Candidates should take a non-returnable photo of themselves and their partners to leave with casting agents.
