What to Watch on Thursday: ‘Rectify’ returns + new ‘Dates’

Rectify (10 p.m., SundanceTV) – The third season of this powerful – and Peabody Award-winning drama – picks up where Season 2 left off: on the very afternoon of Daniel’s plea deal. We learn if Daniel’s deal is accepted and if he’ll be forced out of town. Also, the body of a missing person is discovered and law enforcement once again turns to Daniel for answers. Meanwhile, Tawney and Ted Jr. figure out if their marriage can be saved.

Astronaut Wives Club (8 p.m., ABC) - Deke and Marge embrace new roles to accommodate his new status, and things start to thaw between Gordo and Trudy.

Dates (9 p.m., CW) - In this new scripted British comedy, each episode is devoted to a couple's first date after having met online. Stars include Oona Chaplin, Ben Chaplin, Andrew Scott and Katie McGrath.

Wayward Pines (9 p.m., Fox) - Ethan wants to find out who is responsible for the explosion that left his son in critical condition.

Complications (9 p.m., USA) - When victims of a gang shootout show up in the ER, John navigates rival gang members and police.

Shark Planet (9 p.m., Discovery) - A special exploring more than 13 shark species around the globe, highlighting shark behavior and delving into how they hunt.

Under the Dome (10 p.m., CBS) - Under the guise of helping Chester's Mill rebuild, Christine urges the townspeople toward projects that remind them of their experience in the tunnels.

Hannibal (10 p.m., NBC) - Bedelia and Hannibal’s time in Florence is coming to a close. Meanwhile, Jack questions Will’s loyalty.

Dominion (10 p.m., Syfy) - In the Season 2 premiere, Alex and Noma ahead to New Delphi after an attack, and Claire begins to understand her responsibilities.
