Harper Lee: Hey, Boo (9:30 p.m., UNC-TV) – This fascinating “American Masters” repeat from 2012 looks at the life of Pulitzer Prize-winning author Harper Lee, who wrote “To Kill a Mockingbird” and also “Go Set a Watchman,” which releases July 14. In an addendum to this 2012 film, filmmaker Mary McDonagh Murphy – one of the few people on earth who has actually read “Go Set a Watchman” – will offer a preview of the novel. Also, “American Masters” will have Murphy reporting in a web exclusive about a recent meeting in Monroeville, Ala., with Harper Lee and Lee’s longtime friend, Joy Brown.

Redwood Kings (9 p.m., Animal Planet) – Season 2 starts with Ron and John Daniels tasked with creating a one-of-a-kind French medieval-themed chicken coop for former Playboy Bunny and Vegas showgirl Holly Madison. The fourth season of “Treehouse Masters” premieres at 10.
Shark Clans (10 p.m., Discovery) – While investigating sightings of a 20-foot great white shark in New Zealand, shark experts come across the nocturnal feeding ground of a large shark.
Dark Matter (10 p.m., Syfy) – The crew is hired to salvage an abandoned freighter, but the freighter turns out be more than what they expected.
