Sharknado 3: Oh Hell No! (9 p.m., Syfy) – The sharks are back. And this time, the monstrous sharknado unleashes ravenous flying sharks from Washington, D.C., all the way down to Orlando. It has the usual cast of characters (Ian Ziering, Tara Reid) but also lots of cheesy guest stars and cameos, like David Hasselhoff and Bo Derek.

Also on tonight . . .

Life on the Reef (8 p.m., UNC-TV) – A new series about Australia’s Great Barrier Reef, one of the richest and most complex ecosystems on Earth. In the first episode, 20,000 green sea turtles return to the biggest reptilian breeding colony on the planet and humpback whales give birth.

Home Free (9 p.m., Fox) – A new reality series from Fox in which nine couples compete to win their dream homes. It actually has a pretty cool – and well publicized – twist: everyone wins. It’s all about the reveals. Hosted by Mike Holmes, known for his “Holmes on Homes” series on HGTV.

Last Comic Standing (9 p.m., NBC) – The ninth installment of this reality competition series begins.

Mr. Robot (10 p.m., USA) – When fsociety arrives at Steel Mountain, the most secure data facility in the country, Eliot needs to get in and out quickly.
