Cold Justice: Sex Crimes (9 p.m., TNT) – The original “Cold Justice” series has been such a success (because it’s great television, I swear!), that a spinoff was inevitable – particularly when you consider the show is produced by Dick Wolf (“Law & Order”), the king of franchise spinoffs. In the spirit of Wolf, consider this “Cold Justice: SVU,” with two prosecutors – Alicia O’Neill and Casey Garrett – working on unsolved sex crime cases. The series opens with the case of a brutally attacked retired music teacher in Leon County, Texas. Also, the third season of “Cold Justice” resumes right before this at 8 – a case in Spartanburg, S.C. – so don’t miss that.

Redwood Kings (9 p.m., Animal Planet) – It’s “Treehouse 90210” when the Daniels twins are hired by former swimsuit model Jennifer Stano and her husband Alki David to build a treehouse for their kids at their multi-million dollar mansion in Beverly Hills.

Atlanta Plastic (10 p.m., Lifetime) – The start of a new series following three of Atlanta’s top African American plastic surgeons and their clients.

Dark Matter (10 p.m., Syfy) – Six makes the others suspicious when he makes secret use of a transfer transit.
