What to Watch on Wednesday: Delayed ‘Mr. Robot’ finale airs

Mr. Robot (10 p.m., USA) – The season finale scheduled for last week and postponed due to plot similarities to the shootings in Virginia finally airs. One of Elliot’s past hacks comes back to haunt him.

Big Blue Live (8 p.m., UNC-TV) – The final installment of this live 3-part series on the rejuvenation of marine life of Monterey Bay in California.

The Carmichael Show (9 p.m., NBC) – Two new episodes tonight. In the first, Joe has a heart “episode” after Jerrod makes him eat some kale. At 9:30, Jerrod mentors a teenage boy and the family discusses gender issues.

Extant (9 p.m., CBS) – Molly, Ethan and J.D. look for John’s former colleague, who may have information that could stop the Humanich threat.

The Jim Gaffigan Show (10 p.m., TV Land) – Jim is called “superdad” in a magazine profile, and Jeannie is upset that there’s no mention of her.
