What to Watch on Tuesday: ‘Scream Queens,’ ‘Muppets’ debut

Scream Queens (8 p.m., Fox) – This new horror spoof debuts with two straight hours of over-the-top drama and dark laughs. Our full review.

The Muppets (8 p.m., ABC) – In the prmiere of this new series, Miss Piggy is angry when Kermit books Elizabeth Banks as a guest on her show. Imagine Dragons perform. Read our full review.

Gorongosa Park: Rebirth of Paradise (8 p.m., UNC-TV) – The first two installments of a six-episode series in which American-born, African-raised cameraman spends two years living in the Gorongosa National Park in Mozambique, South Africa, joining scientists and conservationists in the battle to re-wild this once-legendary park.

NCIS (8 p.m., CBS) – In the Season 13 premiere, Gibbs fights for his life on a Navy hospital ship, while DiNozzo and Joanna go to Shanghai to take down the Calling.

Fresh Off the Boat (8:30 p.m., ABC) – Season 2 starts with Louis taking his family on a business trip to Gator World.  

NCIS: New Orleans (9 p.m., CBS) – Pride and the team must go on a dangerous undercover mission to retrieve a stolen missile and prevent an attack in the second season premiere.

Limitless (10 p.m., CBS) – This new series is based on the Bradley Cooper film of the same name. A man's life takes an extraordinary turn when he takes a pill that lets him access his full brain capacity. Read our full review on "Limitless."
