What to Watch on Sunday: ‘Blood & Oil’ on crowded premiere night

Once Upon a Time (8 p.m., ABC) – In the Season 5 premiere, those searching for Emma receive help from unexpected allies.

The Simpsons (8 p.m., Fox) – A visit to a marriage counselor leads to a trial separation for Homer and Marge in the Season 27 premiere. And of course, Homer dates a woman in her 20s.

Brooklyn Nine-Nine (8:30 p.m., Fox) – After Holt is transferred, the precinct's new captain arrives, creating chaos in the third season opener.

Blood & Oil (9 p.m., ABC) – A new series about a new couple who moves to North Dakota hoping to cash in on the largest oil discovery in American history. Their adventure causes them to cross paths with a powerful oil baron, played by Don Johnson. Read our full review of “Blood & Oil.”

CSI (9 p.m., CBS) – Season 15 opens with a major event crippling Las Vegas and Gil Grissom, Catherine Willows and Jim Brass returning to help the team.

Great Food Truck Race (9 p.m., Food) – Raleigh's Pho Nomenal Dumpling truck is in the finale, arriving in St. Louis for three dishes and then heading to Chicago. We talked to them just before last week’s episode.

Family Guy (9 p.m., Fox) – Season 14 opens with the guys going to an abandoned asylum in search of inspiration for a horror movie, and accidentally killing someone.

The Last Man on Earth (9:30 p.m., Fox) – Phil and Carol decide to leave Tucson for a road trip across the U.S. in the second season premiere.

Quantico (10 p.m., ABC) – A new series about a Quantico recruit suspected of masterminding a terrorist attack. Should you tune in? Check out our full review of “Quantico.”

Also tonight, seasons end for "Ray Donovan" (9 p.m.) and "Masters of Sex" (10 p.m.) on Showtime.
