What to Watch on Friday: Get ready for ‘Happy Holderween’

The Holderness Family (9 p.m., UP) – Looks like this show is back after a 6-month hiatus – this time for a Halloween special called “Happy Holderween.” In the special, the Holderness family of Raleigh plans an all-out monster-mash bash with costume-clad friends before their big move to a new home. They’ll be back with a Thanksgiving special in November.

Billy Elliot the Musical (9 p.m., UNC-TV) – In this Great Performances presentation, Elton John’s Tony Award-winning music “Billy Elliot,” based on the 2000 film.

Blue Bloods (10 p.m., CBS) – Danny joins the search for two escaped convicts after learning that one is someone he helped wrongfully imprison.

Satisfaction (10 p.m., USA) – Neil and Grace delve further into the escort business, and a ghost from Simon’s past shows up at his front door.

Z Nation (10 p.m., Syfy) – While crossing the Mississippi, the team splits up after a boating accident.
