Ash vs. Evil Dead (8 p.m., Starz) – This new limited series reviving the “Evil Dead” horror (and to a large degree, comedy) movie franchise has Bruce Campbell reprising his role as Ash Williams, obnoxious fighter of evil. The show picks up three decades after events from the movie, when an act of stoned stupidity unleashes Deadite mayhem in Ash’s life. The series runs for ten episodes and also stars Lucy Lawless, Jill Marie Jones, Ray Santiago and Dana Delorenzo.

Online Abduction (8 p.m., Lifetime) – In this Lifetime movie, a young woman uses geotagged pictures to help rescue her kidnapped brother.

Doctor Who (9 p.m., BBC America) – Tensions run high as factions within the Zygon community incite violent action against Humans. Called in by UNIT, the Doctor and Clara fight to bring the situation under control.

The Returned (10 p.m., Sundance) – If you like your zombie shows a little on the arty side, the second season of this excellent French series returns tonight. In the opener, survivors from the Helping Hand try to move on, while Léna and her father Jérôme continue searching for Camille and Claire. Also, Adèle has recurring nightmares about her pregnancy and Sandrine’s daughter appears.

Legends: Smokey Robinson (10 p.m., OWN) – Smokey Robinson performs at the Apollo Theater and reflects on his favorite Apollo moments.

Austin City Limits (Midnight, UNC-TV) – Modern rock, blues and soul with guitarist Gary Clark Jr. Also, Australian singer-songwriter Courtney Barnett.
