What to Watch on Wednesday: ‘In Defense of Food,’ ‘Mr. Robot’

In Defense of Food (9 p.m., UNC-TV) – Bestselling author Michael Pollan – the “eat food, not too much, mostly plants” dude – debunks the daily media barrage of conflicting claims about nutrition. Pollan travels the globe and explores supermarket aisles to answer the question: What should I eat to be healthy?

Bet On Me (10 p.m., TLC) – A new show in which everyday people win money by people-watching and guessing details about the lives of strangers.
