What to Watch on Thursday: Josh Holloway in new ‘Colony’

Colony (10 p.m., USA) – A new series set in the near future that follows one family’s struggle to survive and restore liberty to occupied Los Angeles. This is from “Lost” creator Carlton Cuse and stars Josh Holloway, also from “Lost.”

Also on tonight . . .

World Dog Awards (8 p.m., CW) – A show celebrating dogs for their work in the military, health services and entrainment. George Lopez hosts. Look for Paula Abdul, Giuliana Rancic, Shanice Williams and Ariel Winter. (Note: Local celebrity dog Knox the Dox attended as a special guest.)

Mom (9 p.m., CBS) – Candace and Baxter are outraged when Christy catches the eye of Candace’s charming, wealthy father, played by Harry Hamlin.

Blacklist (9 p.m., NBC) – Red works with the task force to outmaneuver the Cabal and exonerate Elizabeth Keen before she is assassinated.

Shades of Blue (10 p.m., NBC) – As Harlee grapples with becoming an FBI informant, Wozniak is suspicious of his crew members.
