What to Watch on Thursday: ‘American Idol’ ends for good

American Idol (8 p.m., Fox) – Not only is the season’s winner chosen in tonight’s two-hour series finale, but some of the show’s most successful alumni, including Scotty McCreery, Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood, Fantasia Barrino, Clay Aiken, Chris Daughtry, Kellie Pickler, Caleb Johnson and Bucky Covington return to perform. The Odd Couple (8:30 p.m., CBS) – In the Season 2 premiere, Oscar and Felix try to help neighbors save their marriage after listening to their conversations through a vent.

Scandal (9 p.m., ABC) – The election is in full swing but potential leaks threaten some candidates, who try to keep their secrets safe.

The Blacklist (9 p.m., NBC) – The task force races to stop a catastrophe after discovering tactical nuclear weapons have been targeted by thieves.

Primal Survivor (10 p.m., National Geographic) –In the start of a new series, Hazen Audel tries to reach a former headhunting village, traveling across crocodile-infested lakes and crossing ancient tribal boundaries.
